Part-8

On the 6th of February my uncle, nana and I flew to Victoria falls. originally our plan was to go by coach on an 8+ hr drive but there was no way I was doing that, it was far to hot to be on a coach that long so I negotiated with my step father that I would pay for my own flight. I am scared of flying and After flying lots lately I have decided I feel a lot safer on larger airplanes, we flew in the smallest plane I have been In, it was only 3 seats wide and omg I was crapping it, the turbulence was crazy and shook the plane so much.

When we arrived at Victoria falls Airport we were waiting outside for our ride to collect us and my uncle paid people in costumes to take a picture with me and I had to comply as they were already handing we a wooden stick and shield I was a  little confused. But it is something you don’t see every day so I smiled and enjoyed the experience.

After finding a hotel and dropping of our bags we made our way to the Falls. I can say after we got of the plane I was feeling the heat

When we were walking through to the Falls we saw my most favourite animal of all MONKEYS

🐒

and the closer I got they didn’t care I wanted to grab it and squeeze it…… So cute!!

And Finally…. The view we came for, yet again the camera cannot express the way looking over at this huge waterfall makes you feel, its beautiful!

Like an idiot I decided not to buy a raincoat after leaving mine at the hotel as I thought “it isn’t going to rain” well I was wrong in two ways 1-the mist from the falls is like being sprayed with water and 2-it did rain!!

After we had finished looking at the falls we went to buy souvenirs, my gosh what a task I’m lucky I had my uncle to negotiate prices because I had no idea what was a good deal but in the end I was happy with what I got and cannot wait to give them to people.

And one extra point, the hot shower in the hotel was amazing, I have missed them so much

After waking up and getting ready to go home, we set off for a cooked breakfast, I couldn’t keep still I love a good breakfast.

We went to a place Highley recommended by my aunt called shearwater cafe and I can definitely say I enjoyed it, I would include a photo of what I had but I forgot to take a picture because I was too excited to eat

The flight back to harare was probably the Worst flight I have been on so far. The turbulence was so crazy, I thought I was going to cry
(such a baby) as usual we got back safe and all was good.
